Steps for Joining

Here are the general procedures for joining Chattlab Makerspace. You are able to cancel at any time.

Applying

  1. Attend a meeting to get a tour and meet the membership (we don't bite). Meet some of our members and ask a person if they can sponsor you. We've all done this, and it's not hard to find someone.
  2. Read and understand the makerspace policies. You will be acknowledging acceptance of these in the application process.
  3. If you like what you see and still want to join, fill out the application.
  4. Wait for us to get back to you. If your application is approved by the board of directors ( here's the policy ) you'll receive a go-ahead with the next steps. If there are any concerns about the process or you have questions, email board@chattlab.org.

After Approval

  1. Approved? Great!! Please do one of the following to set up your payment:
  2. All members must complete the liability Waiver: This may be completed online or at the work station PC near the meeting table.
  3. Arrange a meeting with Jeff to get your fob and provide a copy of your state id.
  4. Try to RSVP for a new member orientation that fits your schedule on our Meetup calendar. If no dates that fit in your schedule are found, let us know so we can make alternate arrangements for you.
