Chatt*Lab Makerspace

Welcome to the Chatt*Lab Wiki.

This changes often, but not as often as our space, so we can't guarantee it's 100% correct, but we do try to keep it current.

Chatt*Lab is Chattanooga's first and only “hackerspace” style makerspace. We're a collection of makers, tinkerers, artists, technicians and dreamers that like to share a space with access to many different tools and systems that help us build some really cool crap. If it's a tool we can't afford, we may borrow one from a member, or in some cases just build our own.

We are an open community workshop, democratically ran and operated by our Members. Anyone who is, aspires to be or just wants to hang around smart, creative, friendly mad scientist maker/hacker nerds are welcome at Chatt*Lab! We've got a lot of really bright and creative individuals who love to work on (and show off), fun and challenging technical projects.

Our Mission Statement

Chatt*Lab is a makerspace devoted to leveraging technology and techniques to build things both real and virtual; with a sense of community, collaboration, inventiveness, humor and wonder.

Our Space

We have over 5,000 square feet in the North Shore area full of tools for woodworking, metalworking, 3D printing and electronics. This list grows every month as we acquire (or make) new tools. Our best resource however, is our Members.

Our Location

We are located in the Hamilton County Business Development Center in North Shore, at the corner of Cherokee Blvd. and Manufactures Rd. Our address is 100 Cherokee Blvd., Suite 125, Chattanooga, TN 37405.
