Fusion360 - 101 Workshop
About
This 3-part introduction to Fusion360 is geared towards anyone looking to build projects using 3d computer aided drawing, and no prior CAD experience is necessary. We’ll start by walking through the Fusion360 interface and learning to create 2-D sketches. Then we will learn to create 3d solid models from 2-D sketches. Days 2 and 3 will be project-based with step-by-step instruction on creating 3D models of a keychain and of a mug. The goal of this class is to build confidence for starting your own Fusion360 projects by learning fundamentals and walking through some work-flows.
Instructions Prior To Workshop
Prior to day1, students should create a Fusion360 account and be able to access it / install fusion 360. Students can bring their own laptops or use the computers in the PC lab. Please create a Fusion360 account through this link: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal if you have not already done so!
The lab workstations will have fusion360 installed, but you will need to sign-in into your account to start using.
