Jason Brown
|
Jason is a co-founder of Chattlab and has been in the combat robot building community since 1992 and has served on the ChattLab board since inception. He has appeared on the TV show BattleBots with the robot Bombshell in 2016, 2018, and 2019. Jason's making experience consists of just a little of everything, woodworking, sewing, robotics, machining, 3d printing, welding, electronics, high voltage, pyrotechnics, programming, etc… — Executive Director |

Archer Thompson
|
Archer is a Chattanooga local and has been involved with Chatt Lab since early 2020. He works in machine controls and software development for a local manufacturing company. He is jack of all trades and master of none with interests spreading across a little bit of everything including: metal working, electronics, wood working, 3d printing and modeling, and programming.

Mostly harmless: rarely bites and likes treats. Seldom seen after sunset. Areas of expertise- Primary: glass fusing, glass casting Secondary: paper craft, ceramics, print making, mold making

Zac Garvelink

Zac has been a resident in the Chattanooga area since 1986. He works for a large Manfacturing company supporting a fleet of over 5000 Virtual machines over 50 sites. He enjoys talking with fellow makers and learning about their life and experiences. He also enjoys tinkering with computer hardware, operating systems, hypervisors, machine learning, lithium batteries, electric cars & solar.

Kate Warren

Kate moved to Chattanooga from Houston, Texas in 2004 and has been involved in organizing events, making art cars and art bikes since 2010. Her interests include welding, graphic design, photography and laser cutting.

Nathan Payne
|
Nathan is an Energy Engineer by day, and has a terrible habit of finding hobbies that are the same thing he does at work. Don't believe him and he'll prove it with a spreadsheet. He joined the Makerspace in 2021, but only after walking past the building a dozen times and thinking the place looks cool and oblivious that it was a MakerSpace. He Enjoys DIY electrical projects, wood working, not electrocuting himself, and Solar / Battery Storage.
