=====Steps for Joining=====
Here are the general procedures for joining Chattlab Makerspace.  You are able to cancel at any time.

==== Applying ====

  - Attend a meeting to get a tour and meet the membership (we don't bite). Meet some of our members and ask a person if they can sponsor you.  We've all done this, and it's not hard to find someone. 
  - Read and understand the [[policies:general_policies|makerspace policies]].  You will be acknowledging acceptance of these in the application process.
  - If you like what you see and still want to join, fill out the [[https://forms.fillout.com/t/j4aEi7VYMDus|application]].
  - Wait for us to get back to you. If your application is approved by the board of directors ( [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/12B2NSIlSG0QavuhJqTe9WBjTmVc2_CKG/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=117518775144750529019&rtpof=true&sd=true|here's the policy]] ) you'll receive a go-ahead with the next steps.  If there are any concerns about the process or you have questions, email board@chattlab.org.

==== Next Steps ====

  - After applying, your application will go to each of the board members for review. Once you get 2 "aye" votes, you're approved.
  - An email will be sent to you on how to set up your payment and get your fob.
  - If you have any questions, or if your approval is taking too long, please email the board at board@chattlab.org.
  - Optionally, review our [[http://wiki.chattlab.org|wiki page]].
